Model history
The Buick Special was first introduced in 1936 as Buick's entry-level model and developed over decades into an integral part of the brand. After a brief hiatus, it returned in 1961 as a mid-range model and was available in various body styles. In the 1960s, the Special introduced the newly developed V6 engine, which was later used throughout the group. From 1970 onwards, the Special was no longer offered as a standalone model, but the name lived on as an equipment line in later model series.

Comments of this past auction
Guten Abend.
LG Tom
