Model history
The Porsche 964 was introduced in 1989 as the third generation of the 911, replacing the long-built G model. For the first time, the sports car was available with all-wheel drive (Carrera 4), with rear-wheel drive (Carrera 2) remaining an option. Technically, the 964 brought numerous innovations such as ABS and power steering. Engine power ranged from 250 hp in the Carrera models to 360 hp in the Turbo. The 964 thus combined classic 911 lines with modern technology and marked the beginning of a new era for the series.

LG Tom
