Model history
Introduced in 1969, the first-generation Ford Capri (Mk1) brought the concept of the affordable sports coupé to Europe, combining sporty design with a wide range of engines from four-cylinder to V6. With its long hood, short rear, and striking fastback silhouette, it captured the spirit of the 1970s and quickly became a sales success. Particularly powerful variants such as the RS 2600 also underscored the model's sporty credentials and cemented the Capri's reputation as the European counterpart to the Mustang.

Questions and Comments
LG Tom
