Kickdown's Take
by Moritz NiemannThis 450 SLC is a real rarity: it is an early model (recognizable by its small exterior mirrors, among other features), which were only built as 450s in 1973. In addition, the green velour interior is very rare and was not available in the SL Roadster at all. The car is second-hand and has always been well maintained—a real opportunity!
A 1973 Mercedes-Benz 450 SLC (C107) is for sale in Icon Gold with green velour interior.

Model history
The SL R 107 series was introduced in 1971 as the successor to the "Pagoda" and shaped Mercedes design in the 1970s with its distinctive H4 headlights and wide taillights. The 450 SLC (C 107) coupé variant combined comfort and V8 performance on long journeys. Developed for the US market and equipped with an enhanced safety structure, the 450 SLC also successfully competed in international rallies. The series was built for a total of 18 years – a record for Mercedes-Benz. The SLC was replaced by the SEC of the 126 series in 1981.

Questions and Comments
LG Tom
