by Louis KalendruschatWith its high-torque inline-six engine and Karmann’s distinctive Kamm tail design, the TR6 is the brand’s last classic roadster before the merger with British Leyland. This example has been fully restored—the underbody, axle components, and frame have been rebuilt; the body has been repainted in emerald green true to the original; and the interior and soft top have been completely renewed. A 2018 appraisal report awarded it a grade of 2+; since then, the car’s condition has been maintained through regular care and servicing, ensuring it remains in top condition through 2025. With an “H” license plate and a fully traceable history dating back to its import in 1985, this British classic leaves no room for doubt.

mary For sale is a 1974 Tri
umph TR6 in emer ald green with a black inte rior. Orig i nally deliv ered to the U.S., the road ster was imported from Cal i for nia in 1985 and was owned for many years by its first Ger man owner; a total of three own ers are listed. The vehi cle was com pletely dis as sem bled and restored. Among other things, the under body, axle com po nents, frame, and body were refur bished; the body was repainted in the orig i nal Emer ald Green color and pre served with Dinol; and the engine and trans mis sion were over hauled. The tires, rims, uphol stery, and con vert ible top were also replaced. Tech ni cally, the TR6 fea tures, among other things, Stromberg car bu re tors, a stain less steel exhaust sys tem, a cat alytic con verter, steel-braided brake hoses, Spax shock absorbers, and an alu minum valve cover. The last ser vice was per formed in June 2025. A com pre hen sive ser vice his tory is avail able. The Tri umph is reg is tered, has an “H” license plate, and is TÜV-cer ti fied through May 2027.
