The BMW Z3 was the manufacturer's first model to be produced entirely outside Germany – at a factory built specifically for this purpose in Spartanburg, USA. It debuted in 1995 as a classic roadster with a four-cylinder engine and became world famous thanks to its role in the James Bond film "GoldenEye." From 1996, six-cylinder versions were added, including the particularly sporty Z3 M Roadster with the engine from the M3. This was followed in 1998 by the striking Z3 Coupé, whose eye-catching shape earned it the nickname "sneaker." Over the years, the Z3 received technical improvements, including in the engine control system. Today, the series stands for classic roadster fun with reliable technology and iconic design.

              Dear Sir! As you can see in the photos from the USA, the Z3 wasn't wrecked. There are some scuffs on the bumpers and fender, and they were repainted as described. I cordially invite you to personally inspect the car, which will confirm its excellent condition. I can assure you that if you find evidence of what you call a "total loss," I will reimburse you the full cost of the trip.

              Hallo Soho, dem Verkäufer ist kein Unfallschaden bekannt. In seinem Besitz hat er die Stoßstangen und einen Kotflügel nachlackieren lassen, jedoch nicht aufgrund eines Unfallschadens, sondern aufgrund von Kratzern. Der Verkäufer hat uns mitgeteilt, dass er Längsträger, Querträger und Schweller untersucht und dabei keine Beschädigungen entdeckt hat. Beste Grüße - Kickdown Team

                Das dem Verkäufer kein Unfallschaden „bekannt“ ist, ändert nichts an dieser Tatsache, dass es sich um einen verunfallten Totalschaden handelt. Das Fahrzeug kommt aus den USA und dank Carfax ist die Historie anhand der VIN nachvollzieh- und beweisbar. Das sollte dringend in der Fahrzeugbeschreibung ergänzt werden, da es sich sonst um eine arglistige Täuschung handelt…!

                      Anhand der VIN kann jeder selber anhand von Carfax prüfen, was mit dem Wagen ist. Da muss dem Verkäufer nichts vorliegen. Außerdem bringt eine Google Recherche anhand der VIN aussagekräftige Ergebnisse 😎

                    Technik: Der BMW Z3 ist ein PKW des deutschen Automobilherstellers BMW. Der zweisitzige Roadster wurde im Herbst 1995 auf dem Markt eingeführt. Im Sommer 1998 wurde die Baureihe durch eine Coupé-Variante ergänzt. Im April 1999 wurden Roadster wie Coupé einer Modellpflege unterzogen. Die Motorenpalette reichte von einem 1,8-Liter-Vierzylindermotor mit 85 kW (115 PS) bis zu einem 3,2-Liter-Sechszylinder-Motor mit 239 kW (325 PS). Bis zum 5. Juli 2002 liefen bei der BMW US Manufacturing Company, LLC in Greer, South Carolina (USA) 179.273 Roadster und 17.815 Coupés vom Band. Der Z3 trägt die interne Bezeichnung E36/7 für den Roadster und E36/8 für das Coupé (E36/7S bzw. E36/8S für die Motorsport-Modelle). Er basiert auf der Plattform des E36 Compact und teilt sich mit ihm die Hinterachse sowie einige Teile des Cockpits. LG Tom
