Model history

The Porsche 911 G series was built from 1974 to 1989 and is now one of the most popular classic 911s. The 3.2 model, produced from 1984 to 1989, is considered the most mature of the air-cooled 911 models before the introduction of the 964. With its 3.2-liter six-cylinder boxer engine and 231 hp (European version), it offered sporty performance combined with high reliability. In 1987, the 911 was equipped with the improved G50 transmission, which impressed with its more precise shifting and higher load capacity – a feature that makes vehicles from these model years particularly sought after.

LG Tom
