Model history:

The E46-series BMW M3 presented in 2000 was a textbook sports coupe, with wheel arches widened by 20 millimeters, a large front apron and the curved powerdome engine hood. A spoiler strip, called a Gurney Flap, on the edge of the trunk lid suddenly belonged once again to the mandatory program of a sports car, as did the cooling fins integrated into the front fenders or four thick tailpipes. The time for formal restraint was over. Under the hood also lurked a 3.2-liter in-line six-cylinder engine newly developed from scratch, which was awarded no less than eight times in the prestigious "International Engine of the Year" awards.

Exterior color/paint/bodywork:

According to the seller this BMW M3 had suffered front-end damage in the USA, whereby the airbags did not deploy - this damage was eventually repaired professionally when the car came to Germany. In addition, in the course of the repair work, according to the seller's statements, all typical E46 M3 diseases were eliminated at once. The BMW is painted in classic silver. Engine

The 3.2-liter inline six-cylinder high-revving naturally aspirated engine provides decent propulsion with its 343 hp in combination with a 6-speed manual transmission. In 2020, a major inspection (spark plugs, brake fluid, oil filter, air filter, various gaskets, valve plates, rear axle oil, transmission oil, compression test) took place at approximately 204,000 KM. Furthermore, the connecting rod bearings including bearings, seals and connecting rod screws were serviced. Also the Vanos unit got an overhaul (incl. anti-rattle kit and new screws). A final oil service finally took place in 2022 at 208,000 KM.

The seller certifies the underbody to be in good condition without any inconsistencies.
