Model history:

His tenure at BMW was a whopping 13 years – no other series of the brand has been produced longer (start of production in 1975) than the first model of the 6 series, internally called E24. Paul Bracq designed the sheet metal dress, paid the necessary respect to the Hofmeister kink and the four-eye face and still created a modern, independent coupé. He has an excellent understanding of elegantly concealing even the solid B-pillars for safety reasons, connecting the kidney grille with the hood to form a unit and stretching the 6 Series with its straight beads. The most sought-after model of its kind at that time was the 635 CSI, with 3.5 liters and 218 hp it was the dream coupé par excellence, then as now.

Now a BMW of the E24 series from 1987 can be purchased in this auction: It is more precisely a 635 CSI, which carries the VIN WBAEC710909404122 and is an import from Italy. After consultation with the seller, he states that the BMW has a total of only 2 owners and already has an H-approval. The last completed general inspection will run until May 2023 and the so-called matching numbers are assumed. For the traceability of the history, a partially kept checkbook for the 635 CSI is available.

Exterior colour/varnish/body:

Visually, this 635 CSI is kept in gray paint color - a repainting has not yet taken place according to the seller, which is why the car still has its first paint and accordingly minimal traces of use on the exterior can be found.
