Model history
The MG TC was introduced in 1945 as the brand's first post-war model and was based on the MG TB. Powered by a 1.3-litre four-cylinder engine with around 55 hp, the TC was particularly known for its tuning potential. The interior offered more space thanks to a wider body, while the classic layout with the speedometer on the right-hand side was retained.
Despite its right-hand drive layout, the MG TC was successfully exported to the US, where it was delivered with modified headlights and bumpers. Between 1945 and 1949, over 10,000 units were produced – an unprecedented production record for MG at the time.

Comments of this past auction
LG Tom
