Model history

The VW Beetle is one of the most important cars of the 20th century. Originally developed as the "Volkswagen" under Ferdinand Porsche, the Beetle went into series production after World War II and, with over 23 million units built, became a global symbol of reliability and simplicity.
To mark the 50th anniversary of the original model, Volkswagen released a limited edition of 2,400 vehicles in 1985 – the "Jubikäfer." This exclusive model in tin space metallic commemorates the beginnings of the Beetle's history and marks a special chapter in the success story of the series.

Technik: Am 15.
