Model history
The Maserati Khamsin was first shown in 1972 as a design study at the Bertone stand in Turin – designed by Marcello Gandini. Production of the elegant grand tourer began in 1974, combining a striking wedge-shaped body with a classic front-mounted V8 engine. A typical feature of the design was the transparent rear panel with integrated taillights. Technically, the Khamsin was developed under Citroën's direction and was equipped with hydraulic power steering, among other features. By the end of production in 1982, only 435 units had been built – significantly fewer than its predecessor, the Ghibli.

Questions and Comments
LG Tom
