Its robustness, reliability and ease of repair made it an all-rounder in many respects. Symbolic of the economic miracle era in Germany, the VW T1 Pritsche remains a cult car to this day, combining the charm of days gone by with modern needs. As the first Volkswagen model with a rear engine, the T1 Pritsche had a formative influence on the automotive industry.
