Porsche 911 SC 3.0 (1978)

Louis Kalendruschat

Kickdown's Take

by Louis Kalendruschat

This 1978 Porsche 911 SC is a classic example from the air-cooled era, featuring a 3.0-liter six-cylinder boxer engine and 180 PS. The complete repaint and technical overhaul—including an engine rebuild—carried out in 2009 represent significant investments that are reflected in the 911’s excellent condition. Its condition rating of 2, the major service performed in October 2025, and the extensive documentation featuring 30 years of maintenance records make this SC a reliable choice for enthusiasts of the air-cooled 911.
