Model history:

In 1998, the Munich-based company launched the new - E46 - 3 series generation on the market. From today's perspective, they were the last to follow classic BMW basic principles in their external appearance and interior. With more powerful and larger gasoline engines and a wide range of powerful diesel engines, hardly any customer wishes remained unfulfilled. As body variants were still two- and four-door, Touring, Compact and convertible in the program. Well over 3.2 million units of the fourth BMW 3 Series were produced by the end of production in 2007.

General information about the vehicle:

Now a "package" of two BMW sedans of the E46 generation is offered in this auction: The main focus of this description is on the BMW 330, which comes from the year of construction 2003 and carries the VIN WBAEV51020PD81425, since the second car (a BMW 320, also from the year of construction 2003) with the FIN WBAEV11090KK51516 serves as a partial donor according to the seller. According to the seller, the 330 serves as a pure drift vehicle and the 320 is added as a parts carrier. Both vehicles do not have a TÜV.

Exterior colour/varnish/body:

Both BMW sedans have the same color scheme on the exterior and also have the same body features - according to the seller, they were repainted, which happened with the 330 because it was prepared for a film. The BMW 320 is not accident-free, the 330 had suffered according to the seller's statements in the current possession no accident. Exterior rims/brakes/chassis:

The original BMW multi-spoke rims appear in a gold colour on both saloons. The seller gives the following condition assessment for the tyres: 30-50% (BMW 330) and also 30-50% for the parts carrier (BMW 320). In the area of brakes, the current owner attests to the BMW 330 a condition of 50-70% (an additional brake is installed here) and the BMW 320 a condition assessment of 30-50%.

Interior:

In the interior of the 330 there are fabric seats and you can immediately see from the modifications in the area of the center console that this vehicle has been built with the focus on a drift vehicle. In the 320, a leather interior can be seen and the interior is still largely in original condition. Mileage

The BMW 330 has covered almost 400,000 kilometres, while in the BMW 320 the display in the instrument cluster shows almost 254,000 kilometres. Neither one nor the other BMW has a history. The seller mentions that the instruments in the interior of both BMWs work well.

Engine

The 320 still has its original power (170 hp), the 330 looks different - this was brought to about 300 hp. In the BMW 330, the engine control unit was tuned and, in addition to a differential lock, according to information from the seller, a G-charger was used (without entries in the vehicle documents). While in the BMW 330 you engage the individual gears via a 6-speed manual transmission, in the 320 you will find a manual 5-speed transmission. .

Subsoil:

On the underside of the limousines, according to the seller, there is superficial rust.
