Model history
The Jaguar XK120 was built from 1948 to 1954 and was Jaguar's first sports car since the SS 100 of 1939. It debuted at the 1948 London Motor Show as an open two-seater and test vehicle for the new XK inline six-cylinder engine. The enormous interest prompted founder William Lyons to put it into series production. With its top speed, the XK120 was considered the fastest production car of its time and served as the basis for its successors, the XK140 and XK150.

LG Tom
